Collections are carried out using our own GPS tracked and CCTV equipped vehicles. Our drivers are all security vetted. We will confirm a date and provide an estimated time of arrival.
You will receive an electronic notification from our system, providing a summary of the collection and relevant documentation ensuring compliance. Equipment can be stored loose, caged or palletised to suit you. We only ask that it is stored carefully and securely to safeguard your data and preserve any residual value.
We will collect loose or palletized surplus or unwanted IT-related equipment from your premises, anywhere in the UK. Our collection teams are experienced; security vetted and trained to remove equipment safely, efficiently, and quickly from any room or floor, with minimum disruption to your business.
So, if speed is an issue, perhaps because you are working to tight deadlines or need to avoid lease penalties in the event of office closures or site relocations, we can ensure the rapid clearance of your premises.
We can usually determine if stair climbers, winches or other specialist loading equipment is needed, without a site survey. We will then organise removal of the equipment, providing the required specialist equipment, to ensure no damage is done to your infrastructure.
OCM have the capacity to handle even the largest and most complex logistical requirements, such as the closure of data centres or multiple offices. For example, we have organised the clearance of IT & EPoS equipment from 300 high street stores in just two weeks and processed the contents of 18 articulated lorries at our facility.
Your IT assets will be taken away in appropriately sized vehicles, all fitted with GPS tracking devices for maximum security. On leaving your premises, drivers will follow strict security protocols to ensure that all your data reaches our storage and processing facility safely.
If you would prefer your unwanted IT assets to remain on your premises, we can also arrange data cleansing on site. Find out more on the destruction of equipment on-site here.
